This month’s topic: Protect Yourself from Scams & Frauds
BHML Technology Manager Bethany will join Boothbay Harbor Police Chief Doug Snyder and Julie Casson, Community Digital Planner at Coastal Maine Regional Broadband to walk you through tips for identifying and avoiding scams.
Bethany will stick around after the presentation to answer general technology-related questions you may have.
This program takes place at St. Andrews Village, 145 Emery Ln, Boothbay Harbor, ME and is open to the public.
In addition to curating ongoing exhibits and collections of artifacts, photographs, and historical and genealogical documents, the society also presents a variety of programs of local interest throughout the year.

Children & Library Cards
Children 5 years and up can get their own library card.
Children 12 years and under: we recommend a parent or guardian co-sign on the account in order to be responsible for the replacement/payment of lost or damaged items. However, we allow anyone to get a library card that can provide the information required on the Library’s registration form.
In accordance with our interpretation of Maine State Law, once a minor gets their own library account, our communications about that account are directed to the account holder.
We encourage parents and children to link accounts if they wish to share information.
