Meet up with fellow German speakers of the Boothbay Region during this monthly get-together. This new conversation group is designed to be an open and welcoming circle of people who want to improve or retain their German language skills. We might share and discuss favorite authors, books, essays and poetry and exchange information about available resources to keep and improve fluency. Speaking a second language is fun and can lead to improved memory and brain health. Wir freuen uns darauf, uns mit Ihnen zu unterhalten.
This group meets regularly on 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5:30–6:30 p.m. This group is volunteer-organized and led. Questions? Contact volunteer group leader Cordula at mathc@myfairpoint.net.
In addition to curating ongoing exhibits and collections of artifacts, photographs, and historical and genealogical documents, the society also presents a variety of programs of local interest throughout the year.
