Join us for a free workshop for area students applying for college admissions. This three-week workshop will focus on understanding the purpose of an admissions essay within the context of the application, brainstorming and shaping a topic, and beginning the process of writing and editing a polished admissions essay. Snacks and drinks will be provided!

The workshop will be led by area college essay coach Leigh Perkins of Perkins Essay Coaching. With more than 25 years guiding students through the written portions of the college application process, she’s happy to share her expertise with students in the region. There’s a lot of confusion, pressure and misinformation out there about college essays—let Leigh help demystify the process for you.

Bring your own laptop/Chromebook or other preferred writing materials for note-taking and practice writing.
