Neatly inked on crisp clean paper
Are lines of a poem, the fruits of my labor
Before this it cluttered and clamored for space
On sheets of my notebook, now fully defaced
Do you scribble a lot in your notebook? Doodle in margins? Create nonsense words? Think in rhymes at times?
If yes to any of the above, then you may have poems in you trying desperately to escape! Come set them free at:
The Illustrated Poetry Workshop
Where: Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library
When: Tuesday, April 17 and Wednesday, April 18; 1:oo PM to 3:30 PM

April is Poetry Month, so come to the library for a fun and relaxed workshop on poetry. We’ll read various poems, sample different styles and forms; pen our own poems, and then illustrate our creations any way we want. Books, materials, and snacks all provided by the library. You bring your words and creativity!
Tercet, quatrain, haiku or clerihew
all forms of poetry to discover by you
Funny, sad, many lines or few
you get to decide, and illustrate them too!
